ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Jayden Hollister and I am a non-union actor based in NYC. I recently made the move to NYC this past June 2026 and am extremely ecstatic about it! Born and raised in a small town called Penn Yan in the Finger Lakes of NY, I began performing in dance recitals at just 2 years old. During a visit to a family friend's recital, my mom says I insisted on standing in the aisle the entire time, copying every move the dancers performed on stage. She signed me up for dance classes then and there (thanks mom!). As time went on, I joined my local community theatre; I performed in my first musical at age 4, and had my first musical lead as Peter Pan at age 11 (my big break, of course). Since then, my love for theatre and the arts has grown and blossomed into my now career!
I recently graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and performed in our senior showcase! At the university, I have worked closely with my esteemed professors and directors, T. Oliver Reid, Robin Lewis, and many others.
Beyond performing, I am deeply passionate about sewing and modeling. I have recently begun pursuing both with a more serious, career-driven mindset, creating original garments from scratch and continuing to build my modeling portfolio! I am currently represented by MMG Modeling & Talent Agency.
I've become more and more fascinated with designing and constructing my own clothing. I love being able to step into the role of creator and performer—sometimes even combining the two through pieces I've made myself! Modeling, in many ways, feels like an extension of my love for the spotlight. Finding these forms of expression have really given me a new love for collaboration and my work outside the theatre.
